Independent Living Program
Harambee Corporation's Independent Living Program is designed for males and females, ages 16-23. Harambee began the program to provide housing for homeless teens lacking a safe or stable environment . The Independent Living Program provides the basic needs of housing, food, safety and financial security by helping teens save money for the future while they develop and learn the basic independent life skills necessary to be independent and lead productive lives.
Eligibility, Enrollment, & Cost
Participation in the program is voluntary and the services are provided at no cost. Teens must be between the ages of 16 and 23 to be eligible for the independent living program. The Program Director or Case Manager will hold an assessment interview with teens interested in participation in the program.
Housing

Males - 2-3 males, ages 18-23 (3 Bedroom/1 Bath Apartment)

Females - 6 females, ages 18-23 (6 Bedroom/2 Bath House)
